Technical Failures and More Cooking Live

Somedays you realize you’re old and have technical difficulties and do not have a teenager around to help you figure out how to make Facebook Live work. Or the system was a little maxed out and wouldn’t let me in. I’ve got it figured out now.

Join me for another live cooking class from my kitchen benefitting Tucson Botanical Gardens on April 3rd at 10 am PST. The garden is continually accepting donations, and my own fundraising campaign for them runs till April 9th.

I know this is a hard time for a lot of people financially. I am currently on furlough myself and cannot say with any certainty when I will return to work. Thankfully I have enough financial security to be ok. Not everyone and not every business is so lucky.

If you’re not able to donate, no worries. Join me in another class and come learn something. Watch me be a little weird on live video.

On the menu this time empanadas de acelgas y queso, that’s chard and cheese empanadas, and roasted corn mush with braised chard.

As I mentioned before, the chard, it is taking over. It must be eaten on a daily basis.
